The Vittarq design places the brand identity at the centre of the piece. Its subject is contemporary. It does not need an invented ancient origin to have a coherent story: a restrained mark can bring attention to the relationship between lettering, open space and the circular face.
Vittarq: a mark at the centre of the composition
A mark-led design also changes where a personal memory can sit. The coin can remain visually consistent while an accompanying dedication records a year, an achievement or the people involved. That separation lets the same design serve different occasions without pretending that those occasions share one inherited ritual.
For a person building a set, consistency may be the appeal. Repeating a clear central identity allows the pieces to be read together. The actual approved artwork and specification determine the finished object; the name alone does not establish a numbered edition, special finish or investment outcome.
From a story to a keepsake
Start with the person receiving the gift and the story you want it to hold. A family reference, the exact name of a place or a short account of the occasion gives the enquiry a useful beginning. Include any preferred wording and say which details are essential. The finished artwork and presentation are agreed with you before production.
All curated orders are made to order, with a minimum of 20 pieces per design and weight. Coin preferences are 10g, 15g, 20g, 25g, 50g, 100g. Weight describes the metal quantity; dimensions, relief and finish are separate parts of the specification. An enquiry helps establish feasibility and does not reserve stock or confirm a delivery date.
The presentation can hold the words that do not fit on the object: who gave it, why the motif was chosen and which moment it remembers. We discuss the kit or box as part of the quote, with its price and tax shown separately from the coin. Custom artwork and other additional work is confirmed before you decide to proceed.
Check names, scripts and the proposed depiction with the people who know the intended context. A commercial commission does not establish a temple, religious body, artist or other institution’s approval. Where a different format would suit the recipient better, the enquiry can explore that too.
