Jain Prateek Chihna
The Jain Prateek Chihna gathers several ideas into one composition. The Institute of Jainology's introductory guide connects its modern adoption with the commemoration of Mahavira's 2500th nirvana anniversary. Its outline represents the Jain cosmos; the raised hand and Ahimsa recall nonviolence; the three dots represent right faith, right knowledge and right conduct. The upper crescent and dot refer to liberated souls and their abode.

Read the parts together. An isolated hand may communicate nonviolence, while the full emblem places that ethical concern within a larger account of existence and liberation. Similarly, the swastika inside the composition has a Jain explanation relating to forms of rebirth; it is not simply space-filling ornament.
JAINA's guidance asks that the sacred emblem and scriptures be treated reverently and not placed where they are demeaned. That is a community's stated guidance, not a claim that a merchant can grant religious approval to an object.
If you are comparing two versions, note which elements differ before deciding that one is an exact copy of the other. Keep the original source image beside the description and read the letters in the hand and along the base. An interpretation that ignores the inscription can miss the part most important to the person who uses the symbol.
