The Short Version
- Prices shown are live IBJA-linked rates. Your price is locked for 10 minutes at checkout. If the timer expires, you get the current price.
- PAN is required for gold orders over ₹50,000 or any order over ₹2,00,000 (Income Tax Act requirement).
- You can cancel any order before it's shipped and get a full refund instantly.
- All coins are BIS hallmarked and come with a certificate of authenticity. We guarantee 999.9 fineness for gold and 999 for silver.
- We ship only within India. UPI is our primary payment method (0% fees). Cards and wallets available via Razorpay (2% convenience fee).
Eligibility & Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years of age to access, register on, or make purchases through the Vittarq Platform. Under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, only individuals who have attained the age of majority (18 years) are competent to enter into a contract. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older.
Individuals under the age of 18 may browse the Platform only under the active supervision of a parent or legal guardian. The supervising parent or guardian assumes full responsibility for any activity conducted on the Platform by the minor, including any purchases, account registrations, or communications.
Vittarq reserves the right to request proof of age at any time. If we discover or have reasonable grounds to believe that a user has misrepresented their age to access the Platform or make purchases, we may immediately suspend or terminate the user's account without prior notice and cancel any pending orders.
1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Vittarq ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the website located at vittarq.com (the "Platform"), including any sub-pages, mobile-optimised versions, and associated services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after any modifications to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and customers of the Platform. Additional terms may apply to specific services, promotions, or features, and will be presented at the relevant point of use.
2. Account Registration
To place orders on Vittarq, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information, including your full name, email address, and mobile number. You may register using email and password or through phone OTP verification.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@vittarq.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to or use of your account.
Each individual may maintain only one account on the Platform. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits, exploit promotional offers, or engage in fraudulent activity is strictly prohibited and may result in permanent account suspension.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in activity that we reasonably believe to be fraudulent or harmful to the Platform.
3. Products & Pricing
Vittarq sells physical gold coins, silver coins, bars, and festival collections. All products are sourced from LBMA-accredited refineries and comply with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) hallmarking requirements.
Product prices are dynamic and calculated based on the following components:
- Live spot price. The current market price of gold or silver per gram, sourced from our price feed provider and refreshed frequently throughout the day.
- Platform markup. A percentage markup over the spot price that covers sourcing, minting, certification, packaging, and operational costs.
- GST at 3%. Goods and Services Tax at the rate applicable to precious metals in India (currently 3%).
Because gold and silver prices fluctuate throughout the day based on global market conditions, the price displayed on any product page is indicative and subject to change until it is locked at checkout. We make every effort to display current and accurate prices, but we do not guarantee that prices shown at any given moment reflect the exact price at the time of order placement.
All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include GST. Product weights, purity, and MRP declarations comply with the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 and related rules.
4. Price Lock Policy
When you proceed to checkout, the current price of the items in your cart is locked for a period of 10 minutes. This gives you time to enter your delivery address and complete payment at the locked price, regardless of any market fluctuations during that window.
If the 10-minute lock expires before you complete payment, the lock is automatically released and your cart prices will be recalculated at the then-current market price. You will need to re-lock the price by proceeding through checkout again.
The price lock is a convenience feature, not a financial instrument or guarantee. It is subject to system availability and Vittarq reserves the right to modify the lock duration or mechanism at any time.
5. Orders & Payment
When you place an order on Vittarq, you will receive an order confirmation via email and WhatsApp (if opted in). An order confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order for reasons including but not limited to: pricing errors, stock unavailability, suspected fraud, or failure to verify identity.
Payments are processed securely via UPI QR and Bank Transfer (0% processing fee) as the primary methods. Card, net banking, and wallet payments may be routed through Razorpay (PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant) when enabled. Vittarq Pay wallet credits can be applied at checkout to partially offset your order total. We accept the following payment methods:
- UPI (Unified Payments Interface)
- Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay)
- Net banking
- Mobile wallets
UPI transactions for jewelry purchases support up to ₹5,00,000 per transaction (NPCI Circular OC-185B, effective Sep 2025). However, your bank may enforce a lower limit. For very high-value orders, bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS) has no upper limit.
Vittarq does not accept Cash on Delivery (COD) for any orders. This policy is in place to comply with anti-money laundering guidelines and to ensure the security of high-value precious metal transactions.
6. PAN Verification
In compliance with the Income Tax Act, 1961 and associated rules, Vittarq is required to collect and verify your Permanent Account Number (PAN) in the following circumstances:
- Purchase of physical gold products valued at more than ₹50,000 in a single transaction
- Any order with a total value exceeding ₹2,00,000 (two lakh rupees)
You will be prompted to provide your PAN during checkout when applicable. Your PAN data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption and is stored securely in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023. PAN data is used solely for regulatory compliance and is never shared with third parties except as required by law.
Failure to provide a valid PAN when required will prevent the order from being processed.
7. Shipping & Delivery
Vittarq ships all precious metal orders across India via BVC Logistics, India's #1 precious metals courier (handling 60% of India's diamond exports). Non-precious-metal accessories ship via Delhivery.
Estimated delivery timelines from the date of dispatch:
- Metro cities: 3–5 business days
- Tier 2 cities: 5–7 business days
- Tier 3 and rural areas: 7–10 business days
All gold and silver shipments are fully insured at purchase value. Delivery requires the recipient's signature; we do not permit neighbour drops, doorstep drops, or unattended deliveries for precious metals.
Risk of loss and title to the products passes to you upon successful delivery and signature confirmation. For inter-state shipments exceeding ₹50,000, an E-way Bill is auto-generated as required under GST regulations.
If delivery fails after three courier attempts, the package will be returned to our warehouse (Return to Origin). Upon receipt at our warehouse, a full refund will be initiated to your original payment method.
8. Returns & Cancellations
Pre-shipment cancellation: You may cancel your order at any time before the product is shipped. Pre-shipment cancellations are eligible for a full refund. UPI and bank transfer refunds are processed within 3–5 business days; card and net banking refunds within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.
Post-delivery returns: We accept returns within 7 days from the date of delivery, subject to the following conditions:
- The refiner's holographic seal must be intact and unbroken
- The product must show no visible signs of damage or tampering by the customer
- The product weight will be re-verified upon return (tolerance of 0.05 grams)
- Refunds for returned precious metals are processed at the purchase price only, not the current market price at the time of return
Non-returnable items: Personalized or engraved coins, and any product whose refiner seal has been broken or tampered with, are not eligible for return.
To initiate a return, contact us at support@vittarq.com or via WhatsApp within 7 days of delivery with your order number and reason for return. Vittarq will provide a prepaid, insured return shipping label for eligible returns.
Upon receipt at our warehouse, all returns undergo an inspection process that includes seal verification, weight check, and visual inspection. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days of successful inspection to your original payment method.
Promotional Credits
Vittarq may offer promotional credits ("Vittarq Pay Credits") as incentives for profile completion, referrals, or other qualifying actions. The following terms apply to all promotional credits:
- Credits are non-transferable, non-refundable, and hold no cash value. They can only be used toward purchases on vittarq.com.
- Each promotional offer is limited to one claim per user account. Creating multiple accounts to claim the same offer is prohibited and may result in account suspension.
- Vittarq reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any promotional credit programme at any time. Changes will not affect credits already earned and available in your wallet.
- Misuse of promotional credits, including but not limited to fraudulent verification, fake accounts, or exploiting technical errors, may result in forfeiture of credits and account suspension.
Promotional credits do not expire unless otherwise stated at the time of issuance. Once credited to your Vittarq Pay wallet, they are available for use at checkout on any order.
By participating in any promotional credit programme, you agree to these terms and any additional terms specified for the specific programme.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform. Including but not limited to text, graphics, photographs, product images, logos, icons, designs, page layouts, user interface elements, and software. Is the property of Vittarq or its content suppliers and is protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
The Vittarq™ name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Vittarq, registered under the Trade Marks Act, 1999 in Class 14 (precious metals and coins), Class 20 (display cases and packaging), and Class 35 (e-commerce and retail services). You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.
You may view and print pages from the Platform for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or exploit any content from the Platform without our prior written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vittarq shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform, including but not limited to: loss of profits, loss of data, loss of business opportunities, or damages resulting from reliance on any information obtained through the Platform.
In no event shall Vittarq's total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the use of the Platform or any product purchased through the Platform exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific order giving rise to the claim.
Vittarq does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Platform. We are not responsible for any delays, delivery failures, or other damages resulting from the transfer of data over communication networks and facilities, including the internet. Gold and silver prices displayed on the Platform are sourced from third-party providers and, while we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee their precision at any given moment.
11. Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Applicable statutes include, but are not limited to: the Consumer Protection Act, 2019; the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020; the Information Technology Act, 2000; the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023; the Indian Contract Act, 1872; the Sale of Goods Act, 1930; the Legal Metrology Act, 2009; and the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017.
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, or the breach, termination, or invalidity thereof, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
Before initiating formal legal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at support@vittarq.com to attempt to resolve the dispute amicably. We are committed to addressing concerns promptly and fairly.
12. Changes to Terms
Vittarq reserves the right to modify, amend, or replace these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify registered users via email.
Your continued use of the Platform after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must discontinue use of the Platform and close your account.
