Let the recipient guide the form

An Islamic heritage enquiry may be about architecture, a geometric motif, calligraphy or the memory of a visit. These directions have different implications for how an object is made, handled and kept. Begin with the exact purpose of the gift and ask whether a coin is an appropriate format for the intended recipient.

Allah calligraphy, Mecca–Madina, Ajmer Sharif, Charminar and Rub el Hizb are separate catalogue subjects. A building reference is not a religious endorsement, and the presence of sacred wording needs more consideration than a decorative pattern. Provide the exact reference or text you intend. For Arabic lettering, have the final proof reviewed by someone able to read it; a reversed letter, missing mark or decorative alteration can change what is being represented.

Views about sacred text on merchandise and about particular shrine imagery differ. We do not infer a recipient's preference or present a design as approved for everyone. If the wording or use is uncertain, discuss a non-scriptural architectural or geometric direction instead. Keep the personal message and commercial branding separate from sacred text, and use the enquiry to resolve suitability before artwork or production is agreed.

From a story to a keepsake

Start with the person receiving the gift and the story you want it to hold. A family reference, the exact name of a place or a short account of the occasion gives the enquiry a useful beginning. Include any preferred wording and say which details are essential. The finished artwork and presentation are agreed with you before production.

All curated orders are made to order, with a minimum of 20 pieces per design and weight. Coin preferences are 10g, 15g, 20g, 25g, 50g, 100g. Weight describes the metal quantity; dimensions, relief and finish are separate parts of the specification. An enquiry helps establish feasibility and does not reserve stock or confirm a delivery date.

The presentation can hold the words that do not fit on the object: who gave it, why the motif was chosen and which moment it remembers. We discuss the kit or box as part of the quote, with its price and tax shown separately from the coin. Custom artwork and other additional work is confirmed before you decide to proceed.

Check names, scripts and the proposed depiction with the people who know the intended context. A commercial commission does not establish a temple, religious body, artist or other institution’s approval. Where a different format would suit the recipient better, the enquiry can explore that too.
