Ganga நாணயம்
गंगाগঙ্গাગંગાगंगाଗଙ୍ଗା
Ganga is encountered as a river, a goddess and a presence in the memory of a journey. A sculpture at a temple doorway, the story of her descent and the meeting of rivers at Devprayag each reveal a different part of that relationship.

Have a design in mind?
Tell us about the coin you would like, your preferred metal and the occasion. We will discuss the design, availability and next steps with you.
Made to order · Minimum 20 pieces
Pair your chosen coin with a gift box. Artwork, box style and the itemised price are agreed with your quote.
Made to order: minimum 20 pieces of the same design and weight.
After your enquiry, we review the artwork and presentation with you, then send an itemised quote. The final price, taxes and delivery are confirmed in that quote. No payment is taken with an enquiry.
A goddess image or a remembered place
Tell us whether your gift should show Ganga as a goddess, recall a particular riverside place or carry a dedication from a journey. These are different starting points, and naming the intended place helps make the design personal.
For a figure, share a clear reference. For architecture or a river view, identify the location rather than using an unnamed ghat as a substitute. An original composition and inscription can then be reviewed together.
Keep the journey’s details
The year, companions and reason for the visit can go on the accompanying card. Keep the coin focused on the central image and a few legible words. Gold, silver and the presentation box can be considered according to the recipient and occasion.
From a story to a keepsake
Start with the person receiving the gift and the story you want it to hold. A family reference, the exact name of a place or a short account of the occasion gives the enquiry a useful beginning. Include any preferred wording and say which details are essential. The finished artwork and presentation are agreed with you before production.
All curated orders are made to order, with a minimum of 20 pieces per design and weight. Coin preferences are 10g, 15g, 20g, 25g, 50g, 100g. Weight describes the metal quantity; dimensions, relief and finish are separate parts of the specification. An enquiry helps establish feasibility and does not reserve stock or confirm a delivery date.
The presentation can hold the words that do not fit on the object: who gave it, why the motif was chosen and which moment it remembers. We discuss the kit or box as part of the quote, with its price and tax shown separately from the coin. Custom artwork and other additional work is confirmed before you decide to proceed.
Check names, scripts and the proposed depiction with the people who know the intended context. A commercial commission does not establish a temple, religious body, artist or other institution’s approval. Where a different format would suit the recipient better, the enquiry can explore that too.
